> press the control button
> lock or unlock the cabin door by turning the control knob
> Finally release the button, the lock is automatically locked in this position
Assembly instructions
> remove the cover at the corner of the armrest
> remove the visible screw (Torx TX30)
> detach the base plate of the HEOSafe lock (note, loose parts)
> Fix the base plate to the door using the supplied M6 x 30 Allen bolt
> slide the lock over the base plate, paying attention to the correct fit, then tighten both screws
> attach the lock to the armrest by first drilling a 2mm hole in the plastic and then tightening the screw
> press the door seal together on the B-pillar at the height of the bolt
Blackout curtains
The 12656 & 12646 locks from HEOSafe have been developed in such a way that they can be used in combination with a roller blind (blackout curtain) from Dometic, Remis or others. In some cases, the cover of the blackout curtain has to be adjusted for a correct fit. A free mounting template for Remis darkening is included, so that the set can be easily mounted. In case of Dometic misappropriation, it is best to contact us for a brief explanation.
Installation manual for Dometic SP300 darkening
With the Dometic SP300 blackout, the mounting hole for the plastic frame is exactly in line with the saw template. The shade of the shade is usually cut below this mounting hole.
If there is any play, move the shade slightly upward so that the mounting hole recess is maintained in its entirety before making the cut. If this space is not available, leave at least part of the recess, so that the screw has sufficient grip when clamping the frame.
The cap of the screw will also have to be adjusted, use sandpaper or a file for this. Then glue the cap back into the recess.
